This final year completes UEA's BSc Business Analytics and Management, combining data analysis with core management disciplines. Students spend the year working on current topics in business analytics and a major, independent business analytics project, alongside optional modules that let them specialise in data-rich or management-focused areas.


The degree is designed to build the analytical and business skills employers value most, with graduates going on to roles at organisations including McKinsey & Company, JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte, HSBC and IBM.

What the Programme Covers

  • Current topics and emerging methods in business analytics.
  • A major, independent business analytics project applying analytical methods to a real business problem.
  • Optional specialisation in data-rich areas such as shopper marketing or
    supply chain management.
  • Optional specialisation in management areas such as information
    systems or project management.
  • Professional development through Employability Week and
  • Professional Skills Week.

Programme Structure

  • Compulsory modules: Current Topics in Business Analytics,
    and the Major Business Analytics Project.
  • Optional modules selected from data-rich and management specialisms.
